Company History

The company was established in 2005 as Constant Fire Protection Ltd to provide customers with a local and independent Fire Detection & Alarm Systems Specialist contractor. With over 25 years’ experience within the industry we have vast knowledge of all types of specialist installations in commercial and domestic properties, having worked on large projects as well as smaller residential buildings.

In November 2013 we changed our company name to Constant Fire & Electrical Ltd due to the change within our company’s direction and have now become NICEIC approved contractors. Alongside this we are also MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) accredited with the NICEIC.

As a result of this we now also specialise in commercial and domestic electrical installations, Solar Photovoltaic systems and LED lighting solutions.

Installing and maintaining essential systems such as fire and safety equipment needs to be carefully coordinated.

Constant Fire & Electrical Limited has completed projects for educational institutions, the commercial, residential and public sectors and large industrial companies.

Expert Staff

All of our engineers are fully qualified electricians and have proved competence in fire alarm system installation in accordance with the recommendations in the RRO (Regulatory Reform Order) fire safety order.

All have CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) safety cards and receive regular training to ensure all of their knowledge is up to date.

Our team


Richard Jeffery – Director - Sales, Accounts and Projects

Richard established the company back in 2005 with a view to provide customers with a local based alternative which could provide a personal and professional experience from the very first enquiry to completion of the project. Since starting the company Richard’s customers and clients have always returned knowing that they are delivered consistency, reliability and value for money on every project no matter how big or small. Richard started his apprenticeship with a local based company, but decided to venture out on his own. Over the last 12 years of trading he has learnt to adapt to every eventuality and has now vast experience within the fire and electrical industry.

David Collins - Director, Sales & Quality Manager

David joined Richard in October 2011. He also started his apprenticeship with a local based company where he spent almost 15 years climbing the ladder to become the company's Operations Manager. Prior to joining Richard he also spent 2 years working as a Project Manager for an Electrical Contractor in Sydney, Australia who specialised in Data & Fibre Optic cabling, where he oversaw large contracts for the private and public sectors. David is highly motivated and dedicated and with his vast knowledge within the industry he will always deliver on time and on budget.
